Elect Hassu Bihari

Candidate for Regional councilor Ward 1 (North - West )

Meet Hassu Bihari:

Regional Councillor Ward 1 ( North - West)

Wife - Mother of 3 children and Grandmother of 4 boys

I came to this country in October 1972 as an immigrant from Uganda, East Africa with my husband Bihari Sthankiya and 3 months old baby, Beena Ruparelia and the next day we became a tax payer of this country. In the year 2006, when we moved to Milton it’s population was just 35,000. With the time, the population has risen to 111,000 as of today. With economy thriving, businesses booming, the face of Milton has changed with the new buildings, new infrastructures, roads, and new townships, I find myself surrounded by very friendly Miltonians. The warmth is visible right from the Milton Mayor Gordon Krantz to the friendly Councillors and my next door neighbours. We love the opportunity and vibrancy that living in Milton has brought to our family.

I call Milton my home and after serving as an active volunteer and a popular community organizer in the Halton District since 2006, I am proud to offer my services to the community and the Town of Milton, as your Regional Councillor Ward 1 (North-West).
